Part-Time Plan of Study
The Speech@NYU program can be completed in nine to ten terms when you study part time. Your total length of study will depend on the number of foundation courses you must take before starting graduate-level courses. If you are admitted to the program, Speech@NYU faculty will review your transcripts and undergraduate course work to determine how many foundation courses you need to complete.
Each foundation course is available online through the program.
- Anatomy and Physiology of the Speech and Swallow Mechanism
- Neurological Bases of Cognition, Behavior, and Communication
- Phonetics
- Science of Language
- Speech Development and Disorders
- Language Development and Disorders in Children
- Introduction to Audiology and Aural Rehabilitation
